Raids and towers

A boss is not a pal with a multiplier: the game keeps a separate row for it, with its own numbers. This page reads those rows.

Raid summons: 11 across 6 bosses, 5 of them a hard mode. Tower fights: 31. Of all of them, 27 take less damage than written.

The four numbers on each card are the ones written in the game's row, before the level. The game scales them by the boss's level and by the multipliers below it, and it never writes the result down, so neither do we. "Base numbers" is our wording, not the game's.

Raids

The level is the one the summon item sets. Hard mode is decided by that level, not by the row name.

Towers

The game marks these rows as tower bosses and says nothing else about them: no level, no difficulty label. Two fights under one name differ only by their numbers.

What counters what is not on this page: the game ships no elemental damage table in either pak, so there is nothing to compute it from. The wiki is a witness, not a source. What the boss is and what it hits with are above, and both come from the files.

Numbers come from the fight row, not from the pal page: of the game's 366 boss rows, all but two carry numbers of their own, so the species page would show different numbers and be right too.

These words are ours, not the game's: Melee. Everything else on this page is the game's own wording.
